Hotels

I'm relatively new to this world.

1) Any tips for booking hotels in London
for a few hours?
and
2) What's the general norm regarding paying for the
hotel (does the man foot the bill or is it split between the two)?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

In my experience it's always the man who makes the booking, whether that be for day use or overnight. Make sure the hotel has a cancellation policy, unless you are one hundred percent sure your partner will not cry off. You learn the hard way..

I'm curious as to know why you think it's a man's responsibility to pay for the hotel. Isn't this a joint thing?

I would definitely want the man to pay for hotel rooms. Thanks for the tip about dayuse. I would pay for other things like meals, snacks etc. Maybe buy gifts. Don’t mind the money being equal but it’s the symbolism of the room, should be something the man attends to and provides.

Dayrooms work really well.. just pay on an internet credit card that doesn’t produce a paper statement or use a prepaid card you can load with cash..

I'm happy to pay for the hotel for the right woman. May be I'm old school but obviously it has to be a hotel that the girl is happy with.Ideally some distance from where we both live. Personally I'd prefer to do breakfast, lunch or afternoon drinks with her beforehand and to discuss what we're going to do, flirt madly ? However, sometimes time precludes such meetings. PS new to IE but not to an illicit encounter, its week 1 on here so I have no experience yet of this !

@ ClassyLady77

A hooker that pays for her client! That's a new one!

The other side of the coin is that men who are expected to pay for everything even though their partner is quite capable of sharing the cost often feel as though they are paying for a hooker.

Wow hotlips. Im amazed he lasted 2 years… 🤦‍♀️ Sure he wasn’t my hubby 😂 I

Dayuse.com is good

I want a man to pay. I did it myself once and hated it. Felt like a hooker. I vowed . never again.. I do offer to pay half. If a man wants me they can put money where mouth is.. I pay for everything with hubby don’t need that from a lover

I recommend Dayuse.com or Daybreak Hotels.

For my safety I prefer to book the hotels but I expect the guy to chip in or even suggest it. I had an affair with a guy for almost two years (we didn't meet via this site btw) and I paid for every single booking, even paid for his lunch. A bottle of wine or a box of chocolates would have been nice every now and then.
