How important is a good profile name and photo..?
Have you dismissed a potential IE on the basis of a terrible user name and
a profile photo? I know I have, maybe I should have given them some friendly advice?

Profiles don’t put me off, but if there are specific things I’m looking for and the person messaging me is the opposite, that tells me they haven’t taken the time to read my profile

My username is an old nickname from when I was a young buck,.
If someone wants to judge on username then they need to take a look at themselves, I always read the profile, the more personal it is the more I’m interested, and that’s because they’ve invested time in putting it together.
Photos, I don’t have any cock pics on my profile, if someone wants to see that they can ask me and I would most likely oblige

I've never paid the slightest attention to profile names, but I've rejected countless profiles because they've used the Profile Wizard. Why does IE even have this? It's incredibly annoying and pointless. "I admit that I'm more into MasterChef than Game of Thrones..." Give me a break. How difficult is it to write a few sentences of your own about yourself?
