The 'Average' body

This seems, I suggest, to be often considered differently by men and women.

It does of course perhaps depend on age? I mean is it a size 10 when
considering a woman in her 20's. Or a 12/14 when older say after having
kids? Or even 14/16?

What is a woman's view and also that of a man?

It's those kind of knuckle-dragging, Neanderthal views that give women body issues and feeling ashamed if they're not stick thin.
So are you saying to be attractive we need to look like North Korean, oppressed, cabbage soup eating stick insects?

Asking why are we fixated on size is akin to asking why women subconsciously like a jawline with masculine markers, good teeth, clear eyes, good posture, clean smelling and not blotchy skin. Nobody decides what attracts them, these are evolved traits that enabled Hominids to pass on DNA through the heathly mate choices they made. Pretending we can’t rank bodily attributes is a form of virtue signaling designed to garner status - ‘oh look how I pretend I don’t mind a guy narrow shoulders and bad teeth’

Intoxicate Your Mind.

I know about the menopause and all the rest but none the less there are plenty of middle aged women who took the decision to get a teen bod and achieved it. Not a single person in a N Korean cabbage soup n labour regime is fat, I could give other examples.
A body cannot defeat universal laws of physics, just as a fire cannot increase in size unless more mass is added than burns

I chose not to use Average but rather used Ample. I am a chunky monkey but look good I think and I can still see my little man when I pee.

As a woman, I say average body means nothing that stands out, as in, you don't have great tits or a bubble butt. As a man I guess it means you don't rippling muscles or are a lardarse.

It is a very generic and unhelpful word used to describe something, its like sitting on the fence.

Why are we so fixated with size. Attractiveness is rhe whole package including. Inteligence personality humour. Rebel Wilson and adele were probably more atractive as a plus size than now they are stick thin

I like a size 6-8 woman to devour. I’m fairly muscular so like that contrast. Plenty of very fit women at 55, just saying ‘oh at middle age you can’t fight the spread is not the case’. I don’t criticise anyone but do critique comfortable myths.
If we were all on cabbage soup in N Korea, we would all be skinny, ergo there’s a level of consumption and activity where all will lose mass

Would prefer to use BMI.

NHS says between 18.5 and 24.9 – you're in the healthy weight range = AVERAGE

Fluffy clouds I stand corrected.
I’m 5ft 7 so can carry it off but I’d rather be a straight 12
And why do sizes vary so much in different stores?
😩
