I've been here before and had a couple of long term relationships.

My recommendation is that you get on line after a few pints at the pub, or after polishing off a decent bottle of red. In my case that means I'm at my funniest and flirtiest. Demonstrating you have a sense of humour overcomes the strictest of requirements in the profiles

I agree, Peaches.

I had assumed everyone was looking for something in real life on here, but then realised that virtual jollies are specifically all some people are here for. It's convienient and risk free without meeting, I guess? It's not what I was looking for when i was looking, but if there was 'virtual on-line fun' in the 'what are you looking for' categories it would help members filter accordingly.

Sorry pal .. unless you have the physical attributes of a Stud Stallion, a mind like a University professor, plus the wit of a comedian media platform you will be struggling ...But ....there is hope. I am not so well endowed ...apart from mental capacity also not a slob couch potato, but... A few years ago I met a wonderful lady who I loved to bits and still do ...We had to part because of circumstances out with our control and it broke my heart.. Getting back in the saddle is essential.. keep trying and be yourself ..

Trust me there are alot of men too that have no intention of meeting. About 75% of messages have been off people way above my age range or miles away. Maybe people should stick to specifications and they may not get rejected.

I think there are women on this site who have little intention of meeting up but get their kicks out of rejecting you, which was likely always their intention. It’s probably ones who’ve had a lot of rejection themselves in their lives and now they feel “in control” or something. It’s a bit sad really, but that’s their issue, so just ignore that and keep going, your (real) IE is out there!
