This topic is quite sensitive but it shows why some men are still unlucky with finding an IE or a long lasting IE
It’s not luck is it?

If a lady has a choice between a man who pays for the hotel (More gentleman like)
A man who wants his lady to pay full/half or accepts the offer (cheap)

Result: she will go with a gentleman like man, she will try all her best to repay him something money can not buy or spoil him with gifts etc...

Please note: most ladies on here can afford to pay for meals or hotel at the tip of their fingers!

@MatureWorcs that is exactly what I said.
A long affair is a relationship, so, it is the same etiquette, saying that, I would pay for lunch, dinners and of course, I wouldn't expect a 5 stars.

The question is, would I start a relationship/affair with someone who is not a gentleman? (On my standards) Nope.

I did pay for hotels for my former 2 guys on their birthdays, because I wanted to treat them, but it was an exception. 😆
