I’d always pay. Although if the IE becomes longer term it should become a discussion point - it just depends what else is going on - for example if I’d just bought my IE a full set of lingerie from Honey Birdette (eg corset or maybe a catsuit !!) she might offer to pay although tbh if I could persuade an IE into a catsuit I’d pay the lot !! 😂

Me and my last IE always went alternates taking care of the room although when he ended it suddenly I couldnt help but feel hard done to by it.

No discussion or mutual respect on that score funnily enough, just his decision and I had to like it or lump it. But we could discuss costs like grown ups.

So I have wondered if there is a next time to take a more hands off approach in terms of paying.

Backwards logic I know but seems playing fair/equal made, things were just as short lived as if I hadnt, so may as well keep the funds for other things for myself

I (being a man) would always book and pay for the hotel if the opportunity was there.

No expectation. Just a hope. Hope there is a hotel bill anytime in the next century. 😭

If there were to be a hotel bill I'd say the same as I would for any other expense - I'm usually okay with paying the first one. Though I'd find a contribution very sexy! ☺️

For me, the man pays for the hotel, in the past I have gone halves or paid for it, now I do not. I make this clear very early on in my conversations so up to the man if they wish to continue.

I will bring lovely food and wine, and I love sexy lovely lingerie, and sometimes all this adds up to more than the hotel room.... so i think it is quite fair.

As a guy I would always expect to pay the hotel bill, if the lady offers to pay half I wouldn't accept it but it would feel nice that they offered

I don’t get involved with booking hotel or bringing cash to go halves. I’d find that icky and offputting. Tbf I’ve never been asked to. But with my current guy I did tell him after our first hotel meet that it’s not something I do. I’m happy to pay for other stuff and in general I’m a very cheap date 😂. I just don’t want to be paying for sex!!

I have paid, but I do believe a gentleman should pay especially if he's a high earner. Mostly, I've found men are happy to pay, they see it as the decent and gentlemanly thing to do.
