I’d stick to meeting up for coffee on the first date... if that goes well perhaps lunch.

Lots of people can get cold feet everyone has the right to but never just stand anyone up I have never been and would not do that to a guy I go with my gut instinct if it does not feel right don't meet but don't waste anyone's time

For a woman a dinner date can be a huge commitment. the time the energy the conversation. much better to meet for a daytime coffee or early evening drink. we can always slip that into our routine without arousing suspicion. and in the time it takes to drink a coffee or glass of wine you know whether you want more or need to dash for that train home. dinner is like serving time if this isn't the one. for both of you.
so gentlemen, a quick drink somewhere public and glam is the way to go.

Definitely a day time coffee date
I’ve met some gorgeous guys doing this . Easy, relaxed grown up and zero pressure if the sparks not there
And if the fire ignited... move onto dinner( I personally would sooner meet again for evening drinks ) and THEN 3rd date ....hotel room 😛😛
