Novel?

Is it just me, or do you get bored of someone sending you a long essay for
a first message? I never bother to read it, cos gurantee probably bore you
to death in real life.
Not here to read a novel, make it nice simple and direct.

Am I the only person who sends messages which are never read?

I think a lot of people try to impress with first messages, mostly puts me off as come across as bragging.

PS: I wouldn't even presume to suggest, let alone give any "tutorials" ... ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

I'm afraid there is very little "sisterhood" here ๐Ÿ™„

Actually there is a function here where you can save a message and re-use.

Seems like some of your fellow "sisters" would benefit from a tutorial ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I know there is always element of the guys here who refuse to take no for an answer, and it pis@&s me off because it has such an impact on the rest of us. I will always try and send a well considered message, mentioning something in their profile, why I believe we might be a match. To just get nothing but a wall of silence back is draining, it feels rude, not saying it is, but thatโ€™s how it feels. Kinda wish there was an auto response on here that you ladies could send with the push of a single button, โ€˜no thanks, wish you wellโ€™. Honestly getting a knock back is so so so much more welcome than just the silent treatment.
God who thought meeting like minded people could be so difficult ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Women are just as brief with a first message. In fact they don't do long introductions. So in general we are talking about men sending a long missive to a woman. It's a dumb idea, as you nothing of her. Later on you have more detail upon which to enact your Lord Byron. So save till after the hotel meet.

I am stunned that so many guys give us a bad name by not taking a polite no for an answer, thatโ€™s ungentlemanly.

As for a novel, it would be great to get more than 5 words of 1 syllable, a longer prose shows depth in my view.
