Well, surely it’s personal choice, but you’ve got to try, haven’t you?

I mean you can always try to find out small bits of what the person you’re meeting likes (and doesn’t)? It doesn’t have to be “do you like a bald [fill in option here!]?”

Try and fail is better than not bothering!!!!

I understand totally where you are coming from, may I point out that personally I am always well groomed top and bottom, but you may find that some men may be scared to trim and shave ready for a date, especially if they are not normally in this condition at home with the wife…. Questions are very difficult to avoid when you are married or in a relationship. ( still no excuse to be in that condition anyway)

The question isn't about whether you have clean clothes or had a wash or shower, it's about the grooming of the face. Nose hairs, ear hairs etc. I think this is important, because quite frankly I'd end up focussing on it and wouldn't be able to stop staring if that was going on. Facial maintenance is just as important.

Gosh OP, I always meet during the day, or after work, but always make sure I'm clean and take clean clothes to change into before a meet.

Jeez who have you been meeting that they don't turn up "well groomed". Do people really meet without showering etc first? No no no, if you don't have great personal hygiene, don't care what you look like.
