Personal Maintenance
I prefer a facially well groomed man with a beard or not. But have met men who neglect certain areas which spoils the overall effect. Ear hairs, nose hairs, blackheads, flakey skin, hair growing from top if nose. Why can't men make sure their skin, hair and nails are in check and tidy? How would they like a woman turning up with all that? Get with the maintenance programme!

I'm always plucking nose hair .. makes the eyes water but yeah hair poking out noses and ears is off-putting lol. I have stubble a lot of the time but never a beard .. just gets itchy with my work so I keep it short. Always had compliments.

Personally, I do appreciate keeping my beard trimmed, oiled and presentable... had in different shapes and styles but it has been part of my image for the past 12 years... so it's sort of like an old friend right now.
In terms of body hair.. I also enjoy the fluffy lair it provides.. and not sure if it is just me... but there is something special about that woman who will always find the right spot on our shoulder and then starts gently stroking her fingers on our chest hair in that cuddle after sex.
However, there will always be little details that we (men) will have a bit of a struggle with. I still struggle to identify blackheads.. luckily my skin doesn't have much of them.. or so I am told...
However I aborre hair growing anywhere near my ears.. and unibrow = cringe.. also.. grooming down there is not only more presentable as it is also more higienic. So as years gone by grooming became rather important ritual.
However, for some ppl, "devil may care" is a way of life. xD

I've got to agree with you. There's nothing worse than seeing hairs the size of matchsticks hanging out of a nose, or sprouting from the top. Some blokes have no shame. 😮

You women have been watching too much reality TV. Real men have hair, sometimes in the wrong places but its there. We occasionally try to tidy it up but personally I like it when I look a bit rough round the edges. Due to my chest and back hair I seldom need to wear a jumper in the winter, its like a natural base-layer :-)
