Weight loss in relationships

My friend has lost a couple of stone on the Ozempic diet and now she's started flirting with other blokes and even asked if she should cheat on her husband of 14 years. Anyone else experience weight loss in a relationship that's made them suddenly stray?

Someone asked where the research I mentioned was coming from.
This is just one of a number of papers on the topic.
Toma/Hancock/Ellison, "An Examination of Deceptive Self-Presentation in Online Dating Profiles", Cornell/Michigan State Univ

My initial comment was merely informing that weigh is asked for other sites for attached people. A previous poster referred to research. I was inferring that people tend to lie in order to make themselves more attractive . Who should really care what other people think. Be the best version of you. Their loss if they don’t like your true age/weight. Maybe if we were truthful with our stats we would be avoiding the junk mail expecting their ideal.
Surely any lasting relationship should focus on the personality first. Stats may matter to some but will it last? That’s why I don’t have a type. It could be Beyoncé, or Barbie or the girll next door. But without mental attraction I’ll skip all 3.

As guys seem to think us ladies lie about our age, about our shape, can't trusted to be honest with our photos and filters... I have no clue why you think our weight is to be more trusted as a one off numeric?

If I say I'm 5'10, have E cups and an ass like Beyonce (have you seen the size of her thighs, mine are thinner!) - could you take a stab at the weight?? In this very expert opinion that males have here? No.

And, to my original point - its not relevant as a guy would have no clue. If a guy can make a 'mistake' with his own height - then ladies can make similar 'mistakes' with weight.

It's ALL irrelevant - until you see someone!

I don’t think I contradicted myself . I gave an opinion with two outcomes. For those who look for a certain “type” and are unable to tell the difference between different sizes, “weight” may make them more focussed and therefore it may reduce the junk mail from those. BeckySharpe

On the flip side, if we (men) ignore a certain body type and instead focus on the personality first, that could lead to a more fulfilling outcome. I prefer the “flip side” option.

It says on my profile no VKs…..but I still receive them ….It doesn’t matter what you put in your profile…no one reads it properly

How on earth would putting my weight on my profile reduce junk mail?!

Who's AM?

So you contradict yourself.. first you say entering weight causes less time-wasting ( wasnt aware guys were so understanding of weight complexities they could visualise an AI replica from the stating of one numeric figure?).... but then you say guys focussing on type are missing out on personality? Does the guy who wants to know weight also care about personality then I wonder - when he's looking at weight on the profile? Seems a contradiction... If a guy wants to know personality - he'll try and judge that anyway surely!

MIkeclaremorris..

It’s a good job I didn’t go for my ‘type’ I would have lost out on a fantastic long term affair/best friend…

I married my type 😁
