Did you get my good side ?

I find it hard to understand why people put such bad out of focus blurry photos on their profiles! Shall we help with some tips for the best selfie?

Normally have the top of my head and bottom of my face. As woman are only interested if you have hair on your head and whether you have facial hair.

@Claytonlady

Yes I understand what you say but the whole idea would be to have quite broad age ranges to avoid being too precise about it. if someone is looking for someone younger within a specific narrow age range they can specify this in their profile.

Look at the photo you've taken and think about it from the viewers perspective.

I agree..... I prefer a younger guy but struggle to find someone as physical attraction is very important to me and most men struggle to take a decent pic πŸ˜‚

I don't agree Sportster, I happen to prefer slightly younger guys than me, we all have types and all have an idea of what we're looking for, I do get mails from guys in their late 60's and I'm sure they are very nice but it's not what I'm looking for at this point in my life.

So I think your age ranges are a little too broad...

@TCM

Well said

Too much fixation on age narrows the mind and the restricts the opportunities.

Maybe the site should give only 3 options for age to avoid this. 18 -35, 35-55 and over 55.

These tend to represent general lifestages which can be important for compatibility. If someone is concerned about someones precise age, they can always ask them.

opps
Ok its not ideal if someone fibs about their age, however you are *NOT* MARRYING THEM.

He may be knocking 2 years off due to categories...

If someone 51/52 they may say 49 as someone may be searching to only 50 etc

@tea_coffee_me I agree to an extent, I wouldn't be happy if someone knocked a decade off their age, but one of my IEs definitely lied about his age and continues to do so. Not by much, he pretends to be 2 years younger than he really is. Given he's well over a decade older than me I don't understand why he does that, those extra 2 years really do not make a difference to me at all! But I've never mentioned it and I don't suppose I ever will, if he feels better pretending to be 2 years younger then so be it.
